We are dedicated to the health and safety of our staff and participants. Here are a few ways we’re ensuring that:
- all attendees must provide proof of full vaccination prior to arrival. (The last eligible shot must be received at least 14 days prior to the start of the training.)
- everyone must wear a well-fitting mask throughout the training days; N95 or KN95 is preferred, and we will have a limited number available for those who need them.
Bonus points: wear a mask on your travels to the training site, and as much as possible whenever you are in other public spaces indoors throughout the week. - we will encourage social distancing as much as possible. Please also be respectful of others’ boundaries.
- we will have hand sanitizer throughout the training site.
- we will ensure training site surfaces are disinfected at least once daily.
- all meals are on your own (but we’ll have light snacks and beverages available).
- if you feel sick, or were in immediate contact up to 5 days prior to the start of the training with someone who is actively sick, please do not attend. If you reach out to us (training@midwestacademy.com) as soon as you feel sick or know you came in close contact with someone who is sick, we will work with you to adjust your registration.
We will also have a limited number of antigen tests available throughout the training.
We want to be responsible and respectful to all attendees (staff and participants alike!).
As we approach in-person trainings, we will prepare abbreviated local resource guides. We’ll include a list of nearby restaurants and urgent care and/or drugstores.
Finally, anyone who attends an in-person training with us will be required to fill out a waiver, which we will send to each participant at the time of invoicing.
