TIMES: Please arrive for registration between 9:00AM and 9:45AM on Monday, May 17th. The training will begin promptly at 10:00AM. We finish at 1:00PM before lunch on Friday.
Sample AgendaCOST: Tuition and room/board is:
- Private room with Monday arrival $1,160
- Private room with Sunday arrival $1,275 (includes Sunday dinner and Monday breakfast)
- Commuting from home but eating lunch and dinner with the group $890 Full payment is due May 1st. Make check payable to Midwest Academy.
ACCOMMODATIONS: Provide are towels and linens for overnight guests. Dormitory bathrooms are located on each guest floor. You may commute, but we encourage everyone to stay if possible. If you intend to arrive Sunday, please tell us in advance.
MEALS: We share our meals in the dining room. The Conference Center will do its best to accommodate special diets if you inform the Midwest Academy staff at least two weeks in advance. Vegetarians - please let us know!
OTHER: Bring a notebook and pens to take notes. Guitars and other musical instruments are also welcome for nighttime recreation. Please dress comfortably. Casual dress is fine.
FREE EVENING: Wednesday evening is unscheduled. In past sessions, groups have gone dancing, joined events at local organizations, or thrown parties.
Computer/Internet: Mercy Center provides 3 computers for guest use in the computer room located on the second floor. High-speed WiFi service is available in our conference rooms and public meeting space.
PHONES: The conference center has very limited access to telephones. Messages can be left at (650)340-7474.
Labyrinth and Trails: There are numerous walking paths throughout the property.
