Spring 2012 Internship Program
Leadership Center for the Common Good is a training and technical assistance provider that works with community-based non-profits organizing in low-income communities and communities of color. Our partners are leaders in the fight for social, economic, and racial justice. From California to Massachusetts, from Florida to Washington State, and a dozen states in between, we help groups take on Wall Street banks, amplify their efforts to help families resist evictions, and stand up against wage theft. Our partners have moved campaigns for Paid Sick Days, for living wage jobs, and against devastating cuts to programs that help regular people overcome the barriers to achieving the American Dream.
The Online Campaigns Intern will get hands-on experience in supporting campaigns like these using online advocacy tools and tactics, while learning the key organizing principles and strategies that allow grassroots peoples’ organizations to win real victories over corporations and their 1%er allies.
