Compliance Associate – Remote and Hybrid option available

Starting salary for candidate who meets minimum requirements (Experience will be compensated): $20+/hour

Typical Schedule: 40 hours/week

Under immediate supervision of the Director of Compliance, the Compliance Associate is responsible for ensuring PPNCS and ancillary corporations adhere to ensure organization wide compliance in accordance with state and federal laws, grants, contracts, policies/SOPs, and PPFA requirements by conducting internal monitoring and audits as outlined in the Organizational Quality Risk Management Workplan(s). The Compliance Associate is an advocate in implementing our mission “To affirm the right to reproductive and sexual health and freedom for all by providing excellent care, trusted education, and fierce advocacy”.

Schedule: Standard business hours. Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts. Start times can be flexible.

Responsibilities:

This position will impact us with the following contributions:

Under the supervision of the Director of Compliance, conducts internal audits to assess compliance with state and federal laws, grants, contracts, policies/SOPs, and PPFA requirements
Ensures compliance with regulations by examining and analyzing records, reports, operating practices, documentation, and recommending opportunities to strengthen the process
Writes and issues audit reports in accordance with PPNCS formats and timelines, ensuring clear communication of audit findings to the relevant team members and/or functional area management
Participates in creation, revision, and maintenance of PPNCS compliance departmental standard operating procedures, forms, and templates
Coordinates with other Departments on corrective actions and follow-up, including assisting with project management
Attends Compliance, Quality, and Risk Management (CQRM) committee and reports on findings as indicated
Provides excellent customer service to staff requiring assistance form the Compliance Department
Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum one-year experience working in a compliance department OR one year experience working in an administrative role within a non-profit environment
Experience using Microsoft Suite
