Campaign Manager

Website Free Press

Fight for Your Rights to Connect and Communicate.

Free Press is looking for a campaign manager to help us fight to save net neutrality, curb hate and disinformation online, end mass surveillance, protect press freedom and co-create Black & POC power in our media systems.

The Campaign Manager will initially focus primarily on corporate-accountability campaigns, putting pressure on media and tech companies to stop the spread of hate and disinformation, advance racial equity and serve the public interest. In collaboration with our campaign, digital, field, policy, cultural organizing and communications staff, the campaign manager will support strategic, winning campaigns that achieve real differences in peoples’ lives.

A successful candidate will have strategy chops, rapid-response and coalition engagement skills, and 3+ years online and offline organizing and mobilizing experience.

Starting salary is $60,000-$65,000 and will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience. To counter pay inequality and uphold internal parity, we use a nonnegotiable starting salary system, while benchmarking our pay to competitive markets in the nonprofit sector.
