Website Community Health Impact Coalition

CHIC exists to make professionalized CHWs a norm worldwide.

The Community Health Impact Coalition (www.CHWimpact.org) exists to make professional community health workers (CHWs) a norm worldwide. A network of health delivery organizations in 40+ countries, the Coalition works to ensure CHWs get the fair pay, skills, supplies, and support they need so everyone can have access to high quality healthcare. We are building the collective action networks required to (i) conduct large-scale research on the practices that enable better community-based care to reach more people and (ii) ensure those practices get adopted by health systems everywhere.

The Coalition is recruiting a CHW Engagement Lead to expand CHW participation and leadership in global research and advocacy. This role is a full-time position. The successful candidate will partner with Coalition member organizations and CHWs to drive uptake of a digital CHW Advocacy Training Course, connect CHWs with opportunities to apply advocacy skills as part of the CHW Advocates campaign, and grow and steward a network of CHW Advocates demanding “nothing about us, without us”.
